Born on May 10, 1968 in Yonkers, New York, Erik Palladino was only twelve years old when he told himself that he wanted to be in the entertainment world. It was the motion picture "Raging Bull," starring Robert De Niro, that inspired him to pursue a career in acting. When he was already thirteen years old, he decided to participate in a children's repertory company. In college, he took up a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater at the Marymount Manhattan College.
His biggest break in show business was being a cast member of "ER." But prior to his acting career, he first had a career as a musician. When he was still young, he had always been fond of rock musician Jon Bon Jovi. It was the reason why he joined the rock band formed by his brother Chris which was named No More Happy Faces. He had been seriously playing with the band until he landed a role in "ER," which, of course, was the start of his career in the entertainment world.
